Have I been applying minoxidil wrong?

For the past year I've been applying minoxidil right after applying lotion on my face at night time. Could this have been affecting my results in anyway? I looked it up and apparently I was suppose to apply to bare skin.

Yes you did it wrong. Apply minoxidil 1st then wait for it to dry out, after it dries out use other products. Make sure to use every day.

Also, you can use tretinoin to enhance the results.

If you still don't respond you might have low sulfotransferase enzyme.

Thanks. I guess my 1 year of minox was for nothing lol. Also just added tret to my routine.
