These are the 3 mogger ideals of a job

Remote, High Paying or Future Proof.

Now lets use these 3 categories and compare CS against other degrees
Medicine: Remote X, High Paying ✅, Future Proof ✅2/3
Finance: Remote X, High Paying ✅, Future Proof X 1/3
CS: Remote ✅, High Paying ✅, Future Proof ✅ 3/3

- Other Negatives: Medicine takes way to long to finish, Finance is too narrow you're pretty much forced to go well into finance.

But, but, but AI will replace coders? Okay lmao CS students can still pursue Machine learning and AI or even Cybersec and Cloud roles. You can even break into sales with a CS degree you also have the flexibility of being able to work in finance.

It's just to flexible and opens so many doors ofc this only applies if you're doing your degree in a good university.

Good luck getting a tech job in 2024. You're also not going to get a good ML role without a PhD lol. If your goal is to break into finance you're going to have to put in a lot of legwork and self studying, at that point your better off studying finance w/ a minor in math or CS.

Remote is rare post pandemic unless you freelance/ create your own business.

High pay is only for seniors and you will be an oldcel by then.

Nothing is future proof. The world is too dynamic nowadays.

Getting your first job is also a joke. You have to be giga NT and have connections or slave projects (work for free cuz they probably wont be profitable) or your resume will go to the trash. Women in your classes are also probably the worst. Ugly subhuman dorks, fat or Stacies from rich families who are Chad only. I regret so much getting into this bullshit.

Meanwhile some friends went into pharmacy with 1:8 male to female ratio in uni. Easier than medicine, less work hours and easier work in general. They make drugs and use them to NTmaxx. They can also order or make drugs without prescription which jew doctors will refuse to. They can take a sales role too and literally scam people with snake oil type shit to make a shit ton of money.

Bluecollar work done by actual engineers and not just by technicians are the most needed position right now. Everyone and their momma is a cs major these days, and every engineer i've met just wanna sit in an office and sign some papers up all day. Actual slave labor tbh + low T.
