I wore metal glasses that somehow got crooked and started touching my cheek/undereye area. I've known for longer that I have a nickel allergy and the glasses toucing my skin must've triggered a reaction. I got an itchy rash that would get wet from wound fluid. It went away after wearing different glasses and putting thick ointments like vaseline or weleda skin food on it. It has been six months since the allergic reaction but my skin is still extremely dry, itchy, sensitive and flaky in this area. I apply vaseline to it multiple times a day, this seems like the only thing that slightly works but still leaves my skin flaky after a few hours. Does anyone know what to do?
